I have always held a deep love and respect for the outdoors. This has affected everything from my hobbies to my career path. Throughout my 30 year career in forestry and natural resources I have been involved in all aspects of forest management, from reforestation to final harvest, early to mid-rotation silviculture, hunting lease management as well as land acquisitions and land sales. I have been a registered forester in Ga since 1995 and remain active in the industry by providing professional forestry services for private landowners. I also continue to stay up to date on industry news and trends through various local and statewide associations. Through my experience and time in the industry I have developed relationships with other industry professionals, landowners, and investors, and have a wide variety of contacts at the local, state and national level. Throughout my career I have analyzed every transaction in which I was involved with the goals of achieving the highest possible value in the most environmentally responsible way. I will evaluate each transaction in the same manner for my clients, large and small, whether you are buying or selling to ensure that you get the maximum value out of each transaction. Land transactions, especially timberland, are not "one size fits all". There are many factors that can affect the value such as location, tract size, product volume, product and species mix, and local and regional markets. Don't enter into one of these transactions on your own, make sure you have someone on your side who understands the difference!
