B. Daniel Bennett
|
An Athens native, Daniel Bennett graduated top of his class in May 2011 from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of business after earning a B.B.A in commercial real estate and Terry College’s prestigious Real Estate Excellence Award. His interest in real estate originated from the time he spent working in his father’s construction business. Since that time, Daniel has made his life ambition to learn more about real estate and serve his community through responsible real estate management, investment, development and marketing.
In addition to his illustrious educational career at the nation’s #3 ranked real estate program, Daniel brings 10 years of construction and real estate development experience to the Athens area. He has focused much of his time in the past year working in the administrative and technology side of Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty by monitoring the company’s internet presence and advertising, implementing changes to the company’s website and Intranet, and conducting property and market research for the commercial division. Daniel was also hired by the successful A2 Team as a marketing intermediary for commercial and residential property listings and as well as to develop organization systems to enhance efficiency and streamline the transaction process.
In essence, Daniel has worked in every phase of the real estate business. He is passionate about real estate development, recognizing its intrinsic value and its unlimited potential. He specializes in real estate investments and knows how to evaluate real estate investment opportunities. This background, combined with his enjoyment of helping other meet their goals and succeed, enables Daniel to process any real estate transaction in the most professional manner.
In addition to his passion for real estate, Daniel enjoys classic cars, is a self professed tech geek, and plays guitar, piano, and bass guitar. He attends Church of the Nations where he is a member of their band and enjoys volunteering his time in the community.

Michael Broun
|
Michael Broun was born and raised in Athens, GA. He has spent most of his adult life in Athens and Oconee Co., GA. Mike graduated from Athens High School in 1967 and from the University of Georgia in 1972 with a degree in business management.
Mike spent the early years of his adult working life in various endeavors ranging from banking to owning a clothing store. The majority of his adult working life was spent owning and managing Firestone tire and auto repair stores in Athens and in Greenville, SC. He began his commercial real estate career after selling out these stores. His commercial real estate career began in 1971 with Whitworth Land Co., moving to Coldwell Banker Upchurch Commercial Realty a year later. Mike is involved with all areas of commercial real estate services sales, leasing, and property management.
Mike is married to the former Sharon Benson. He has two sons that are both attorneys. He has lived in Oconee Co. for the past 25 years. He has also served on the board of directors for the Athens Community Council on Aging, the Boys and Girls Club of Athens, the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Athens Country Club. He served as president of the local chapter of the Red Cross.
Mike enjoys hunting and fishing and reading. His current project is working with his bird dog Ben.

Russ Daniel

As an Athens native, Russ is very familiar with the opportunities to invest in commercial properties in the area. Russ’ strength is his knowledge of the market. With his experience, he is able to bring wise counsel to any transaction.
Russ Daniel’s interests include boating, flying small aircraft, golf, and his six grandchildren. He is married to Cookie and they have two children, Ben and Katharine. Russ and Cookie are members of Athens First United Methodist Church.

Randy Flanigan

James R. "Randy" Flanigan is a recent addition to the Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty sales team, but he is a well known and respected name within the Athens counseling field. His interest in the purchase and sale of property combined with his expertise as a licensed auctioneer led him to his recent obtainment of a real estate salesperson license. Randy’s expertise in counseling and as an auctioneer adds a unique set of skills that will benefit those interested in buying or selling real estate, either conventionally or by auction. Randy is a native Athenian with an extensive knowledge of Athens and the surrounding counties. He is married to Susannah Flanigan, who is a professor and administrator at Athens Technical College. Randy and Susannah are active in community service, including facilitating auctions for numerous charities and non-profit organizations. In his spare time, Randy enjoys bicycling, restoring vintage airstreams, hunting, fishing, reading, traveling, buying and selling collectible antiques, AND selling real estate.

Terry Hand

Terry Hand joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Upchurch Realty in 2005. Terry spent 10 and 1/2 years in the United States Marine Corps where he flew helicopters while stationed in California, Hawaii, and overseas. He left the Marine Corps in 1988 to begin his career as a pilot for Delta Airlines. Terry is still employed at Delta and is currently a Captain flying the Boeing 757 and 767 jets to mainly international destinations. Combining his long-time interest in real estate with his career experience in customer service, Terry is proud to now focus his energy on his clients and their commercial real estate needs. Terry and his family moved to Athens in 2004 and love the Athens lifestyle.

Andy Homeyer

Homeyer is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree from the Terry College of business. He has been in real estate for eight years now, four as a member of the Million Dollar Club. Homeyer is a graduate of the Georgia Realtors Institute. His primary mission is to meet the needs of Buyers or Sellers. In addition to general commercial real estate, he specializes in land multi-family, residential, and rentals. He has extensive knowledge of the Athens area and surrounding counties.
In his free time, Homeyer enjoys tennis, landscaping, and is an avid beekeeper. He resides in Athens with his wife, Dana.

Roby Redwine

Roby Redwine joined Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in 2007. Virtually a lifelong resident of the Athens-Clarke / Oconee area, Roby attended Clarke County schools and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1985 with a degree in economics. He knows this area inside and out and has always been an avid observer of the growth and demographics at work here and in the surrounding counties. He and his wife Dana have four children, and his family and community have consistently been his focus. Roby’s community involvements include being a lifelong member of Athens First United Methodist Church, Oconee County Little League coach, Kappa Alpha Fraternity alumni advisor and board member, work on Habitat for Humanity houses, and past volunteer in the Oconee County school system. He is also a member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors Commercial/Land Committee. With over twenty years of exceptional customer service in the financial services industry under his belt, Roby is ready to work hard meeting your commercial real estate needs.

Allen Stephenson

Allen Stephenson has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty since 1986. Prior to actively entering the real estate profession, he was involved in economic and industrial development work at the community and state level for more than thirty years. For twenty-five years prior to joining Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty, he was executive vice president of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and executive director of the Athens-Clarke County Industrial Development Authority. During this period he was instrumental in helping to build the industrial base of the Athens community by assisting in locating a number of major industries in the area. Among these are: The Kendall Company, Reliance Electric Company, Dana, Conwed, Overhead Door Company, Del Mar, Johnson & Johnson and Dupont. Since joining Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty, Stephenson has assisted in the location of a second facility for Reliance Electric. Immediately prior to joining Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty, he was responsible for locating and assembling a 1,000-acre tract in Jacksonville, Florida for the development of a major industrial park. Active in many state and local activities, Stephenson is a past president of the Georgia Economic Development Association, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Executives Association and was an organizer and served for 25 years as the secretary-treasurer of the Northeast Georgia Area Planning and Development Commission.

Charlie Upchurch III

Charlie Upchurch III joined Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in 1986 and, in keeping with family tradition, has reinforced the high principles on which the company was founded. Today, he serves as the President and Broker of Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty which proudly employs 70 full time residential agents, seven commercial agents, and a staff of 10. Charlie participates actively in the community by holding numerous civic and professional positions: Chairman, St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board Member, First United Methodist Church of Athens Executive, Council Member, Boy Scouts of America - Northeast Georgia Member, Athens Rotary Club (Past Director) Key Communicator, Clarke County School System Partner in Education, Oconee County School System Alumni, Kappa Sigma Fraternity - University of Georgia Member, Regional Advisory Council for Coldwell Banker Corporate (Past) Member, Athens Area Association of Realtors Commercial/Land Committee (Past President) Member, Athens Area Association of Realtors Board of Directors Member of the Multiple Listing Service Lifetime Member, Million Dollar Club Accredited Buyer Representative Member, Athens Area Home Builders Association Member, Athens Area Chamber of Commerce.
